Wow! The Detroit Lions cut underachieving wide receiver Charles Rogers! I actually like this move a lot. For one, I am not a Lions fan. More importantly, I like to see teams cut guys for slacking off and showing now work ethic or dedication to their job, no matter how high they were draft.

He was the number 2 overall pick in... 2003, I think?

I'm sure someone else will sign him, but for now, I'm enjoying this almost as much as seeing the Denver Broncos cut Maurice Clarette after wasting a third round pick on him last year!

Let's hope the Cowboys pick him up. Rogers and TO can feed off each other. Then we will get non stop TO coverage on ESPN instead of only 50% of the time. They can fill their entire roster with the bad boys, slackers and drug users. Hell they can try to reinvent the old Raiders...
