Who do you like to win the Superbowl in 2008?
I'm predicting a resurgent year from McNabb and Eagles will represent the NFC. In the AFC, the Colts, Patriots, and Chargers all look great, and I think any one of them could win it and would beat the best of what the NFC has to offer, but I'm going with the Chargers. Vincent Jackson will get in on the offense more, giving Philip Rivers someone reliable to throw to other than Antonio Gates, who will have his usual quality season. Oh. That Tomlinson kid is pretty good too.
So, I'm saying Chargers over the Eagles in the 2008 Superbowl. |

I would agree that the Chargers are the team to beat in the AFC unless Norv Turner completely screws things up. Not a lot of success as a head coach. Strong offensive talent and a decent defense to go along with it however. Colts offense continues to look very strong, but don't know how long they can bail out a mediocre defense and a key injury (Manning, Addai) could create a disaster.
In the NFC, I like New Orleans and Seattle. New Orleans will also have the defensive questions, but the NFC seems to be a pretty shallow conference and I think they have one of the better coaches out there right now. Seattle may be a bit of a stretch, but if Alexander can stay healthy, they could return to something resembling the 13-3 season they had in 2005-2006.
I'll go with the Chargers and New Orleans in the Super Bowl with the Chargers prevailing, primarily due to a better defense. |
