I'm taking the Cubs and Phillies to win their respective series. Experience will triumph over youth in the playoffs.
Then, Cubs over the Phillies. Phillies bullpen is soft (although better towards the end of the season), and their rotation is awfully thin after Cole Hamels.
Granted, that may be the homer in me, but it's a logical pick that isn't based on "I just love the Cubs."
No idea for the American League. Those are 4 very good teams. Anyone of them could do it.
Granted, these picks are already a leg down, as the Phillies are currently trailing the Rockies 3-2 in the bottom of the 7th. |
