So with a World Series I am thoroughly uninterested in well underway, I find myself thinking about stadiums. Thus far, I have only been to give ballparks, Wrigley Field, PNC Park, Great American Ballpark, Miller Park, and Comiskey... or US Cellular, or the Cell, or US Comiskular... whatever they're calling it these days. I have, however, vowed to visit every park by the time I am 40, along with two other contributors to this forum.
Thus far, Wrigley Field is my hands down favorite. You just can't build that kind of atmosphere. After that, I really like PNC Park, with Miller Park and Great American not far behind. Even US Cellular was nice. I have yet to visit a dumpy ballpark.
What's your favorite? Why? Have you been to any dumps? |
