lets speak on top underrated top college baseball prospects in the game of college baseball today, now considering the fact that there are alot of underrated talent in NCAA baseball, i ran across a guy i never really heard of until 2006, when he batted .323 swiping 22 bags and averaging 14 RBI's for Division 1 Eastern Michigan University, this young fella name is Montaous Walton, a milwaukee WI Native who definitely has the blazing speed to play on anybody's roster.

i been reading about him attending a smaller university in his home state, that definitely has a tradition for baseball. the kid can play, in 2007 he did well swiping 17 bags, hitting .311 and only garnering 4 triples that season
i would say keep an eye out for this underrated college prospect he can definitely hang with the big boys. rumor has it that he may be sitting out due to an injury for the 2008 season, if so look out for him to do well in his final season in 2009.

yeah montaous is underrated, but yet and still he seems to be a hell of a player, go back to his prep days his highschool team had a Standout pitcher that was talented, Montaous was good as well, but started to blossom more at the collegiate level, At Eastern Michigan He played Behind Trumaine Riley a two-sport star in both football and baseball, dont get me wrong Walton is talented and definitely put up fair numbers splitting time with Trumaine in centerfield a couple years ago.

underrrated? yeah, but Talented most definitely, to tell you the truth i wouldn't be surprised if he does receive all-conference at the new program that he transferred to or heck even All-american. from my understanding the best thing for him to do at this point is to Maintain good grades so that he can be eligible this season or next season and stay in good shape. i mean 22 stolen bases is alot...i know he's fast and all, but for him to do that he must have to run a 6.56 in the 60 yard and 4.48 in the 40 yard.

after reading a recent article on him, it mentioned that he was being looked at by Alabama, purdue, minnesota and Kansas Coming out of highschool WOW! we talkin bout Big ten, SEC and Big 12 programs
Now Thats Talent, there is no doubt in my mind that he will dominate in the WIAC Conference.

man a 6.5 in the 60 is fast, seems like him and jemile weeks from the university of miami could probably go at it in a race against one another. for those of you that dont know, Jemile weeks is the brother of rickie weeks from the milwaukee brewers.

honestly i would love to see both walton and jemile race against one another, that would be exciting to watch, both guys are so quick!
