Some things I love about minor league baseball are the team names, the logos, and the mascots. The teams don't all have to be your standard animal names or "Sox" type names. Take the Lansing Lugnuts for example. That's just a great, fun name. You would never see that in the majors.
So what's your favorite minor league logo? Mine is a toss up between the Modesto Nuts and the Montgomery Biscuits. Tough call. If the biscuit man were featured more prominently on the Montgomery logo, it would be them hands down. Both are great logos!

So, a couple of years ago, I remember seeing a great logo that was a saxophone with a baseball shooting out of it. I think it was for the Nashville Sound, but I went looking for it, and their logo is now kind of boring. Just a baseball player swinging a guitar. I guess they changed their logo in the last couple of years.
So instead of that one, I'll cast my vote for the Cedar Rapids Kernals. Great team name, too.
