Great game today. I think I speak for all Boiler fans when I say that could have easily gone the other way. Pretty standard Boiler football though for the season in that you just don't know which Curtis Painter you're going to get. Fortunately in the second half, we got the good one. I loved Tiller's comments about "We have a go to guy (Dorien Bryant). We need to go to him."
Nonetheless, with today's 42-31 victory at Illinois, Purdue is Bowl eligible!!! For Tiller, this makes 9 out of 10 years we've been to a Bowl game since he has been at Purdue, missing last year.
Still, we got lucky with all the turnovers today. I think Ron Zook may have been cursed by gypsies. If he offers you a piece of pie, I would advice against eating it. |
