After four full weeks of NFL football, the top two quarterbacks in most standard fantasy football scoring systems are Donavan McNabb, and Peyton Manning. No real surprises there. Yes, McNabb had a rough season last year, but that was amidst all of the Terrell Owens drama. We all know what the man is capable of.
The real surpise, however, is who is sitting third on the board... REX GROSSMAN!!! That's right! Rex Freakin' Grossman! I lucked into trading for him early on, as my QB Trent Green might be dead, and another guy was wanting to deal his backup, Grossman. We worked out a win/win trade. That was after week one. I thought Grossman would probably be fine, but I certainly didn't expect him to light it up as he has over the past three weeks. Trent Green might not find his way back into my starting lineup ever.

So the question is, is Rex Grossman for real? Is this what we can expect from him week in and week out, or is this an aberration? The Bears have kept a lot of faith in him through his short injury prone career, but bringing in Brian Griese in the pre-season raised some eyebrows. Is this what sparked Grossman on to the success he has had so far? I think it's a combination of that (to a lesser degree), of finally being healthy, and finally having confidence in his receivers.

I for one, am hoping this is the REAL Rex Grossman.
