My picks for week #8

So the last few weeks, a person could be doing very well in an office pool or whatnot just by picking exactly the opposite of my picks.

Nonetheless! I am not quitting! I started the season, and by god, I'm going to finish it!

So, without further ado, here are my picks for week #8:

I like:
Pittsburgh - 9 over Oakland @ Oakland
Indy +3 over Denver @ Denver

I love:
New Orleans -2 over Baltimore @ New Orleans
Kansas City - 6 over Seattle @ Kansas City

and the Iron Clad Lock of the Week picks:
Giants - 9 over Tampa @ New York
Jets +1.5 over Cleveland @ Cleveland
New England -2.5 over Minnesota @ Minnesota

Some quick random thoughts on the games...
I don't see Tampa moving the ball against the Giants at all. Their offense is awful and that Giants defense seems to be getting better and better. I think Leon Washington is going to run all over that young Cleveland defense and I expect a big game from Pennington as well. The Jets aren't nearly as bad as people thing they are. They should be favored in this game, regardless of it being at Cleveland. I think New England has their groove back. Seattle is missing too much from their offense to hang with KC at the moment. New Orleans has, in my opinion, become the biggest home field advantage in the NFL. Those fans are hyped and want it.
As far as just watching the games, I'm really looking forward to that Colts/Broncos game this afternoon. Should be a fun one.
