Did anyone hear Indianapolis Colts center Jeff Saturday on Bob&Tom this morning? Apparently, after the win against New England, Peyton Manning was feeling pretty good. On the flight back to Indy he took assumed DJ duties for the plane, and was "playing the hits" under the name "DJ P-Money" for the fictitious radio station 1818 FM. He was dedicating songs to both players and coaches from James Brown, Kenny Rogers, and Michael Jackson. Saturday went on to tell us all that not only was he playing the "hits," but he sang a couple as well, including "You've Lost that Loving Feeling" (the whole plane joined in on that one), and "Ice Ice Baby."
That had to be a laugh a minute for the guys trying to sleep! Nice to hear about Peyton and the gang cutting loose a little and having some fun. These are the kinds of football and sports stories I like to hear about. Too often this sort of thing is overshadowed by the negative. |
