| Just Kidding! I thought that would make you all look. For those that don't know Kyle didn't play yesterday because his transcripts have not cleared yet. I'm sure some of you are crossing your fingers but I am not. We have a very deep stable of receivers with Orton most likely to have a break out season. Reports from spring and summer camps said that he absolutely dominated. Besides by Kyle's own admission he is not 100% healthy and has to play thru pain. I never thougth Kyle was great, good but not great considering his size advantage. He will not burn you with his speed therefore he should use his size to block out and go up and fight for the ball but he doesn't. Notice how Purdue rarely throws a high ball along the sideline or corner of the endzone for him to go get? There's a reason for that. |

True. I always thought they needed to be lobbing them high into the corner of the endzone where only Kyle could get them, but apparently there isn't enough faith in his hands or his physicality. A shame, for a guy that big to not take advantage of his size.
...and Dorien Bryant is going to have a bigger year than Greg Orton. |

| On the bright side, I don't think anyone was planning on Ingraham being a big part of the offense this year. No big loss. The guy just never lived up to what he was supposed to be. |

| Agreed. Apparently his is going to redshirt this year. So that gives us a nice backup for next year in case of injury or some other unfortunate event. |
