Not a bad game. I'm glad the Colts won, but there are definitely some issues. The run defense was non-existent. Getting Corey Simon back will help with that. Tiki Barber is just really good. Still, I would have liked to have seen the Colts D just slow him down a little. Jacobs looked good too. He looks like everything Ron Dayne was supposed to be when the Giants had him.

The Colts running game was pretty bad. They were able to move the ball somewhat when running to the left side, but that was about it. I think Joseph Addai will be alright. He's more physical than Dominic Rhodes, who I believe is nothing more than a career backup and should never be your featured back or splitting carries on a regular basis. Addai will improve, and should be taking the bulk of the carries before too long.

Sunday Night Football's "Rockstar of the game" award went to Peyton Manning, but personally, I think it should have been Adam Viniteiri. Not only did he drill every field goal he attempted, including a 51 yarder, but having a kicker who can actually kick the ball into the endzone on a kickoff makes a HUGE difference. It was at least 10 yards more per kickoff than the Colts were used to with Mike Vanderjagt. Good riddance to that guy.
