Wow. That was ugly. It was nearly our Bowling Green game from last season. The secondary is just horrendous! This could get really ugly when the Big Ten season rolls around.

Curtis Painter is an enigma wrapped in a riddle. He'll throw a few terrible interceptions right into a linebackers numbers, and he'll throw pinpoint accurate passes where only his receivers can get to them. There doesn't seem to be a lot of middle ground with him. He's young though. He should only get better. Hopefully he can reduce the errors. If he can just do that, the offense should be in good shape. Although he did seem to have a lot of trouble with screen passes and those little rollouts. Too excited for the short passes?

Keller had a couple of nice grabs, but he had a couple of drops, too, that hit him in the hands. It looks like he's going to be a part of the passing game, so he'll have to improve that.

Sheets looked good. I'm pleased with what we have there. That juco transfer ran pretty well also.

Dorien Bryant though... wow. He's just exciting to watch. He can break the game open anytime he touches the ball. He just seems to be faster and on a completely different level than anyone else on the field.
