Okay! My league just saw its first trade of the season! We carry over three guys each year in a now 16 team league. An expansion team dealt Reggie Bush and Bobby Engram for Clinton Portis and TJ Houshmandzadeh.
I think he really overpaid for Bush. Bush is going to split carries this year and has a suspect offensive line. Hous is as reliable as they come, and could break it open on any given week with all the double teams Chad Johnson sees. One of the sites describes him as "a poor man's Reggie Wayne." Portis's shoulder has him somewhat in question, I suppose, and Duckett will probably see a lot of the goal line touches, but still... wow. Portis and Hous is a lot to give up.
He must be looking long term. |
