SPORTS FORUM AND OUR MISSION
This website was founded by a small group of sports fans. Primarily football and baseball fans, some of our favorite teams include the Chicago Cubs, Milwaukee Brewers, Chicago Bears, Indianapolis Colts, San Diego Chargers, Purdue Boilermakers, Indiana Hoosiers, Detroit Red Wings (yes, we have a hockey fan or two), Chicago Blackhawks, Boston Bruins, Chicago Bulls, and many others. We love the MLB, NCAA, NFL, and NHL. We also enjoy the NBA, NASCAR, PGA, and fantasy sports. Some of our favorite Major League Baseball players have been Mark Grace, Jason Varitek, Lance Berkman, Jake Peavy, David Wright, Alfonso Soriano, Vladimir Guerrero, Francisco Liriano, Cole Hamels, Felix Hernandez, Curt Schilling... the list just goes on and on. Some of our founding members are huge NFL fans, and support such great players as Peyton Manning, Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, Reggie Bush, LaDainian Tomlinson, Steve Smith, Rex Grossman, Laurence Maroney, Drew Brees, and Joseph Addai. The list really goes on and on. There are some many great athletes and roll models, and so many interesting characters in the world of sports, it's hard to choose only a few.
Our mission here at LiveSportsTalkForum is to provide a place where sports fans of all teams, players, and sports can chat, rant, rave, and preach about whatever topics happen to be on their minds. We encourage everyone to read as many postings as you like, respond to them, and create new postings of your own. We value different points of view. If you don't agree with what you are reading, then post a response. Just try to make it thought out and intelligent. "The Giants Blow!" and "Nu-uh!" are not intelligent responses. While they will not be removed from the board, they certainly won't sway anyone to your way of thinking.
We only have a few rules here -
1. We keep it clean. This is a site for sports fans of all ages to talk sports.
Profanity will not be tolerated.
2. Spamming will not be tolerated and spammers will be removed and banned from
this forum.
3. No threatening language of behavior will be tolerated. You certainly will not
agree will everything other people have to say, but that is no excuse for
threatening language.
So sound off! Get in there and start responding and posting! Tell us who your favorite teams are! Tell us who your favorite players are! Tell us why those teams and players are your favorites! Do you hate a certain team? Tell us why! Tell us why you're outraged by the world of sports, or why you love the moves your GM just made! Is there a category you feel is missing from the board? Email the administrator and tell him what you want to see! We here at live sports talk forum want you to share your opinion with the world, and we want to help you do it!
